Manaslu Circuit Trekking or the “Mountain of the Spirit”, as it is locally revered, is easily one of the most challenging trekking circuits filled with spectacular scenery keeping you captivated and thrilled from the start to finish. Manaslu Circuit Trekking is a classical journey of unfolding the secret Tibetan Buddhist land lying at the edge of one of the most secluded Himalayan valleys around the Manaslu. Manaslu was a restricted area for trekking in recent past, due to its close proximity with Tibet bordered to Nepal. Also one of the eighth tallest mountains in the world has off beaten paths compared to other popular trekking regions. This particular trekking region is filled with extraordinary varied landscapes and stretching as far as Tibetan borders. An exciting trekking region filled with topographical variations, ethnic communities and age old traditions and culture.
Manaslu Circuit Trekking journey traverses across various routes leading towards Manaslu, from Soti Khola, Dhading Bensi, Arughat and finally to Soti, from where our actual trekking commences. From here we follow the trekking trail along the Soti Khola, leading us in to the interesting remote indigenous village of Macchha Khola. The entire Manaslu Circuit Trekking region is a contrasting blend of exceptional views with ascents and descent gradients, filled with exceptional views written all over it, along with varied flora and fauna immersed under strong cultural influences from Tibet amalgamating with Nepalese ethnic diversity. Trekking further we reach to sacred ethnic settlements of Almara, Riden Gaun, Lambesi and finally Budhi Gandaki, an exceptional place providing enchanting ever changing glimpses of the mountains and the wilderness. Ascending further we reach the villages of Jagat and Philim with a cross over bridge before a steady climb towards Deng a spectacular place of cascading waterfall nestled around wonderful villages of Namrung and then Samagaon. The local inhabitants of these regions follow the age old customs and tradition and are extremelyfriendly providing a chance to get a closer look into their unchanged way of lives throughout generations. Further we acclimatize before heading towards Samdo and Dharamshala, before trekking to cross the Larkya La Pass, an excellent vantage point filled with panoramic views of astonishing snowcapped mountains enroute to beautiful Tije village, invites our attentions while descending all along the radiant rhododendrons and pine forests.
